Much darker than Wicked Lovely, but in the end the right decisions were made. Leslie is depressed. So deeply depressed that she seems to be struggling to breathe. Niall is struggling to be good, fighting what he finds to be evil within himself.Irial has been king for so long, that now he seems weak with the responsibility.I wish we would have seen more of the Summer court as it seems lighter and would help to balance the book. This is not a easy breezy read, it’s not even a happy read, it’s a dark sad read that will leave you feeling depressed but hopeful. It certainly can play with your emotions, and it’s beautifully written. But I warn you to not read this when you are looking for something cheerful. I do suggest you read it though it’s a beautiful second in the series.Melissa Marr certainly understood the world of depression.More of my reviews @ http://missiontoread.blogspot.com/
